Habicabi

Housing project
ongoing

Habicabi, an innovative and eco-responsible micro-hotel project intended for research in design and architecture.

Building eco-responsible micro-houses for ecotourism. Promoting innovative solutions, sustainable architecture and bringing local materials sectors to life.

Allowing individuals to spend a moment of slow life by living an immersive architectural experience and promoting low impact architecture.

We are facing a major ecological crisis, and the construction industry is not for nothing, and at the same time, we find ourselves at the heart of a global pandemic that puts even more pressure on our living spaces.

Habicabi is a residential park, intended for ecotourism and research in architecture and interior design, to promote innovative solutions for sustainable architecture. This park consists of micro-houses using local and renewable resources, according to low-tech construction principles. Through this park, a community of craftsmen, designers and suppliers of eco-responsible materials learn together and pass on their know-how

A 3-step project:

First, the creation of a functional prototype, a micro-house of 20m2 habitable by 2 people, to validate the architectural and entrepreneurial model.

Then the establishment of a park of micro-architecture and a community of creators and suppliers.

Finally, the creation of a research laboratory on new ways of living, where the community makes it possible to document, transmit and enrich know-how. Through construction projects, artist residencies, or the sale of furniture. And which is at the heart of sharing this experience and the solutions found.

While it is interesting to work on an ecology of the habitat of tomorrow, it is even more essential to allow popular appropriation and popularize it.

“Offering everyone the opportunity to build their own house in accordance with their means and convictions, thus detaching themselves from overly expensive and polluting real estate markets. And this by popularizing the techniques and principles of ecological construction.”

“Over the course of my travels, my interest in architecture and the dreamlike dimension carried by its representations - in particular through the filmography of Hayao Miyazaki - has transformed into a deep desire to share through the habitat and its facilities, a search for serenity. Sensitive to environmental issues, I want to become the ambassador of a new sustainable architecture. I see there the future of such a troubled time which confronts us with our habitats more than ever and where we begin to realize the impact of our lifestyles.

I aspire to become the creator of a gentle hospitality, at the service of well-being, where one lives in harmony with oneself. ”
